What we collect

• Account details: your display name, email address and a securely hashed password.
• Records that you confirmed you are an adult and accepted our terms, with the date and the version you accepted.
• For creators: identity, age and consent verification results, handled with a verification provider so that we store as little sensitive material as possible.
• Activity needed to run the service, such as reports, moderation decisions, bookings and, once payments are connected, transaction records.
• Security logs that keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your network address, not the address itself.

Why we use it

To run your account, keep the platform safe, verify creators, prevent fraud, pay creators, and meet our legal duties. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and browser storage

We set one cookie to remember that you chose to enter the site, lasting 30 days. Your content preference (the choice on the entry screen) is saved only in your browser’s local storage. Sign-in uses the cookies needed to keep you signed in.

Who else sees it

Service providers who help us run DAYSTY, such as identity verification, payments, email and streaming, receive only what they need. We may disclose information where the law requires it or to protect people from harm.

How long we keep it

We keep data only as long as we need it for the reasons above or the law requires. Verification documents are kept for the shortest period our provider and the law allow.

Your rights

Where the law gives you them, including under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and to object to certain uses. Contact us through the Support page.

Security

We protect accounts with hashed passwords, rate limiting and access controls, and we limit who on our team can see sensitive records. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong, unique password.

Children

DAYSTY is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has used the site, tell us through Support and we will act on it.
